About Me

I’m Gemma Scott, a freelance recipe developer and food stylist with a passion for seasonal, sustainable food that’s kind to the world while looking and tasting great. I was the sole recipe developer at sustainable online grocer Farmdrop for 2 years until its closure in late 2021.

In 2017 I was working in food PR but realised I wanted to be the person making the food rather than the person just talking about it, so quit my job to follow my passion and studied at the prestigious Leiths School of Food and Wine, completing the year long professional diploma course in summer 2018.

Following my graduation I worked as a freelance event and corporate catering chef, wedding cake maker, supper club organiser and social media manager before starting my dream job in recipe development.
